Lauren Jones

Lauren was born in Jackson, Mississippi on April 23, 1981. At the age of 6, she moved to California with her family where they resided in Del Mar and La Jolla though her senior year in high school. Upon graduating from La Jolla High School, Lauren moved to Santa Cruz, CA to attend the University of California Santa Cruz where she lived for four of the most memorable years of her life. After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Art History in June 2004, Lauren traveled to the French Rivera to continue her studies in art . Lauren had some of the most amazing experiences on this trip and was able to broaden her knowledge of both art and culture. She resided in Mandelieu La Napoule, 5 miles from Cannes, in a castle known as a living museum, the La Napoule Castle of Henry Clews. During this time she studied art, visiting different galleries scattered along the Rivera and writing studies of each gallery. After several weeks, she traveled on to visit Florence, Amsterdam, and London. After her amazing trip Lauren headed back to California, ready to face the harsh reality check of settling upon future career plans. After careful thought, Lauren decided against her initial plans to move to NYC to find a career in the art world. She made the decision to move to Houston to work with her father in order to empower her knowledge in computers and business. Upon moving to Houston, Lauren knew she had made the best decision she could have made and quickly picked up on all that the computer business had to offer. Lauren plans to continue to live and work in Houston as the family business develops. She hopes to one day be able to incorporate her knowledge of art with her knowledge of computers.
